Sidewalk Arts Festival

The Cade Foundation Sidewalk Art Festival is an outdoor fundraising activity focused on creating art on the sidewalk to support families with infertility. Participants will be given a box of sidewalk chalk and assigned a spot on which they can create art expressing support and hope for affected families. This is the 2nd year we’ve held a sidewalk (chalk) art festival (in collaboration with the Race for the Family) and we are very excited about this activity.
This year we will have two categories for participants:

Young Artists (age 10 and younger)

a. Cost for this group is $10

b. Registration for individuals is on the day of the festival; pre-registration is available for groups of at least 3 online.
There are 52 spots available.

c. Each participant will be assigned a sidewalk spot that is 2’ by 4’ large

d. Everyone who participates will receive a certificate for their participation and be eligible for age appropriate door prizes

e. T shirts can be purchased on site for $10 and “young artists” will be able to decorate their shirts at a special table for this purpose.

Mature Artists (age 11 and up)

a. Cost for this group is $25

b. Everyone registered will be entered into the raffle for the free IVF cycle. The cycle can only be used if the winner has infertility, but can be donated to a friend or family member who has infertility and may benefit from the cycle.

c. Each participant will be assigned a sidewalk spot that is 8’ but 8’ large.

d. Each registrant will receive a box of chalk, a free t shirt and a Race for the Family Goodie Bag and be eligible for the general door prizes associated with the Race for the Family and the Sidewalk Art Festival.

e. Prizes will be awarded for 2 categories:

1) Best demonstration of the theme- Overcoming Infertility
2) Most inspirational art highlighting adoption

f. All registered artists will be eligible to decorate their complementary t shirts in the at the “art” table.

g. Pre-registration for this is highly encouraged given that we have a limited number of spots available for this activity (28 spots). However, same day registration will be available for any spots remaining on race day. To register now, visit www.raceforthefamily.com.
